A clear standard for an expressive site.

We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a design and improvement target for this website. This is an accessibility statement about Page & Process, distinct from our accessibility service page. It is not a claim of independent certification or complete conformance across every browser, assistive technology and game.

The site combines reading pages with animated artwork, films and optional puzzles. Access to project information and the contact route should remain available without completing a game. Feedback from people using different access methods helps identify the barriers that an automated check can miss.

Change the tempo.

Use the header or footer motion button to choose quiet motion. Decorative animations also respond to your device's reduced-motion preference. Films have play and pause controls. Browser zoom and text resizing let you adjust the reading size; you can also use your browser's own reading tools.

Navigation, forms and main controls use text labels and keyboard focus. The page directory gives a direct route to destinations. News filters have standard inputs and reading pages can be opened directly, without playing an animated transition.

Choose the experience, not a test of access.

The Possibility Machine supports selecting parts and destinations with buttons as an alternative to dragging. Paper Trail offers keyboard drawing as well as pointer input. Poppy's game includes pause, sound and untimed choices. Page Drop offers keyboard and on-screen controls, pause and a visible Close action.

These alternatives do not make every game equally usable. Poppy and the falling-block puzzle rely on spatial observation and movement; a person using a screen reader may be unable to play them fully. You can skip them and reach the project explanation, contact links and ordinary reading pages.

What still needs care?

Decorative layers, dynamic dialogs, dense project previews and some long reading pages may need further refinement at high zoom or with particular assistive technologies. Some small text embedded in project photographs or captured websites cannot resize independently; surrounding descriptions provide the main explanation.

Quiet motion reduces decoration but does not remove the movement essential to an actively played game. Browser and device behaviour can vary, especially for canvas games, download actions and source-view links. No complete independent screen-reader or WCAG audit has been represented by this statement.

Tell a person where the barrier is.

Email page@dsrepro.co.uk or call 01925 632717 if a page or action is difficult to use, or you need information in another format. Include the page URL, what you were trying to do, the access method involved and the format that would help. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis.

The lead reviews the request, discusses a practical alternative and coordinates an improvement where appropriate. If the first response does not resolve it, use the feedback and complaints route. This statement was prepared on 14 October 2026 and should be reviewed when material features change.
