ABOUT PAGE & PROCESS
Different brands. Their teams. Your shared ambition. Researchers, writers, designers and software builders come together around your project, with one accountable lead. Every website or system is research-led, bespoke and created from scratch.
A LITTLE HISTORY. A BIG POSSIBILITY.

A link. A look. A place on every screen. A useful action. These are a few moments in the web’s long, unfinished story. Our chapter brings the page, the process and the people behind them into the same conversation.
The examples below are original, era-inspired demonstrations. They are not reconstructions of historical websites.

A proposal at CERN became the first browser and server in 1990. In 1991, the web was announced more widely. A page could point beyond itself.

CSS1 became a W3C Recommendation in 1996. Content and presentation could work together with a shared language of style. The same words could feel very different.

Responsive web design gave an established challenge a memorable name: make the experience fit the person’s screen. The content should still make sense when the space changes.

TODAY / OUR NEXT CHAPTER
Your project brings people from different teams into the same conversation. Researchers, writers, designers, software builders and standards specialists connect their expertise around your business. You bring the ambition and the knowledge of your organisation; together, we turn it into something useful.
Meet the shared briefBEHIND THE BRANDS: PEOPLE WORKING TOGETHER.
The brands below bring their people, skills and perspectives into one coordinated collaboration to deliver websites, software and connected experiences. Expertise is shared across the work: research shapes design, design guides development, and quality informs each decision. Your lead assembles the right specialists for your agreed project and keeps everyone connected.
Access a wider circle of expertise without having to coordinate separate suppliers yourself. Your knowledge stays at the centre; the teams connect the research, creative thinking and technical work around it.
Buyer research, your business knowledge and wider perspectives give everyone the same starting point. The brief belongs to the whole project.
Writers, designers and developers exchange ideas as the work takes shape. Evidence, usability and quality guide the bespoke content, interface and software.
One lead joins the decisions, specialist reviews and approved handover. The people behind the brands work towards the same website, system or connected experience.
You gain a connected team. The mix of specialists, responsibilities and deliverables is agreed around what your project needs.

The page: ask the right questions.
The process: give a person a useful next action.
CONNECTEDFive collaborating roles. One shared project. Choose a logo to see the expertise behind it.
Your accountable lead brings the participating teams together around one agreed outcome, coordinates decisions and keeps the approved website, practical tool and print handover connected. You have a clear person to speak to while specialists work together behind the scenes.
The collaboration brings standards orientation, process mapping and evidence into the work. Any certification claim, certificate scope and accreditation relevant to your project are checked separately. The logos alone do not certify the programme.
Explore quality and assuranceThis social initiative is part of the Market Accord community project. People volunteer their specialist time to help businesses and public organisations access high-end, bespoke websites and software while reducing project costs.
Around 90% of eligible project hours are contributed through volunteering. Research, design and development come together around your agreed brief, with an accountable lead and professional review.
Your scope, any client contribution, external services and ongoing care are agreed before work starts. The 90% refers to eligible hours, rather than a discount on every cost.
