Statement prepared for the main public website. The optional larger version has a different interface and separate notices.
Ways to move around
A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard users pass the repeated header. Links and controls have visible focus styles. All five navigation choices remain visible on a small screen, including Discover. Its website studies use the same header and information links as the other main pages. Close a quick reader with Escape or its Close button, or use “Read as a page” for an ordinary full-page version.
Reading and completing tasks
Pages use headings and labelled form fields. The main layout adapts to small screens, and text can be enlarged using browser controls. Decorative arrows are hidden from assistive technology; their neighbouring words explain the destination.
The Websites and Software pages show their explanations and examples directly, with ordinary scrolling and no tabs, popups or changing demonstrations. Their content and navigation remain available with JavaScript disabled. Optional tools on separate study and workspace pages have written explanations, and the enquiry form also has a normal page-submission route.
Checks and remaining limits
Development checks in Chromium cover keyboard navigation, visible focus, narrow-screen layout, text contrast and the form's validation and feedback. Safari and WebKit verification remains outstanding. These checks do not amount to a complete accessibility audit or establish compatibility with every assistive technology.
We use the WCAG 2.2 guidelines as a reference when improving the interface. We are not making a declaration that every requirement has been independently assessed or met.
Website mock-ups contain small sample text as part of the pictured design. The surrounding descriptions explain the idea, but if an image prevents you understanding a detail, please ask for that detail in another format.
Tell Darren about a barrier
Call 01925 632717 or email page@dsrepro.co.uk. Include the page address, the task you were trying to complete and what stopped you. If useful, add your browser or assistive technology and the format that would help. You do not need to disclose a disability.
The enquiry form provides a standard page-submission route as well as enhanced feedback when JavaScript is available. Direct email and telephone remain alternatives.
